Zoo Art Fair was held from 17-20 October at Royal Academy of Arts, 6 Burlington Gardens, in central London. One of the foremost international platforms for emerging contemporary art talent, the Fair showcased under six year-old commercial and non-commercial arts organisations. Exhibitors in 2008 included 58 galleries, project spaces, artist collectives, curatorial groups and publications, selected from across fifteen countries. In addition, the Fair hosted a number of exhibitions including: solo exhibitions by Karla Black – winner of Champagne Perrier-Jouët Prize 2007, and Elad Lassry – winner of John Jones Art on Paper Award 2007; Los Vinilos a site-specific group show of works in vinyl responding to the architecture of the historic building; as well as a programme of Film and Video and a series of Performances.
